Patricia Watson cd cover detail

Patricia Watson's love of music and theatre
is instrumental in her life!

Classic jazz, silky smooth with a gospel touch, that's the music in me. My voice and songs inspire my audience so much so that they cannot resist the urge to sing along and participate in this engaging soulful musical experience. Music is magic! Music is my passion!

Patricia Watson sings jazz

Patricia Watson, winner of The African Nova Scotia Music Association's 2009 "Rising Star" award has been singing most of her life. As a little girl, she had a recurring dream, "I would be sitting in the audience watching myself sing on stage" she recalls, "and be on stage watching myself in the audience."

This has played out in her life because she has actually been in both places. She has performed many times on different stages and been an appreciative audience member watching - and listening - to other musicians.

Patricia performs with the John Bird (keyboards), Gary Sallins (guitar), Robert Clark (bass) and Dave Skinner (drums). She also sings with the Seaside A Capella Women's Chorus.

On June 25, 2016, the Starfish volunteers, Chester Drama Society volunteers and the Chester Playhouse came together to raise funds for the Starfish Refugee Project. This song, "What a Wonderful World" sung by Patricia Watson and Musical Friends, embodies the hope that humanity will some day learn to embrace diversity for the awesomeness it can offer. If only we could learn to live together and recognize the humanity in everyone.

Patricia Watson had the opportunity to be interviewed by Ravi Tangri on his meh2YEAH webinar. Ravi is the CEO of Chrysalis Strategies. He helps individuals lasting results - go from "meh" to YEAH! Many people are now approaching retirement from a career that may have been OK, but truly wasn't their passion. The choice now is whether just to retire on the beach or to follow that passion. Patricia Watson pursued not just one, but two passions when she retired and we explore how she overcame doubt and uncertainty to do just that. Please stay tuned for a link to the full interview.
