Classic jazz, silky smooth with a gospel touch, that's the music in me. My voice and songs inspire my audience so much so that they cannot resist the urge to sing along and participate in this engaging soulful musical experience. Music is magic! Music is my passion!
Patricia Watson, winner of The African Nova Scotia Music Association's 2009 "Rising Star" award has been singing most of her life. As a little girl, she had a recurring dream, "I would be sitting in the audience watching myself sing on stage" she recalls, "and be on stage watching myself in the audience."
This has played out in her life because she has actually been in both places. She has performed many times on different stages and been an appreciative audience member watching - and listening - to other musicians.
Patricia performs with the John Bird (keyboards), Gary Sallins (guitar), Robert Clark (bass) and Dave Skinner (drums). She also sings with the Seaside A Capella Women's Chorus.
You Got the Power Music Video inspires people to go beyond circumstances and obstacles that occur in their lives. The music video compliments the song and is visually inspiring. Its goal is to help inspire people to reach for their dreams, and better themselves no matter the challenges they face.
